Transport & Accommodation
The Red Barn is located in Karapiro in the Waikato, so it is likely a lot of you will need to travel in order to celebrate with us. We want to make this as easy as possible for you, so have a few accommodation and transport options listed below.

Travelling by bus
We have organised a bus to transport guests from the Cambridge Town Hall to the Red Barn before the ceremony begins, and back after the conclusion of the reception. If you’d like to use the bus service, please make sure you let us know when you RSVP so we can keep track of the final numbers.
Uber is also available in Cambridge if you need to get from the bus stop to your accommodation.
Travelling by car
There’s parking at the venue, however you will need to exit before 12:30am or your car will be locked in after the gate is closed. If you leave your vehicle overnight, it will need to be moved off the premises before by 9am or you may incur a fine.
Travel time from Cambridge is about 25 minutes, and from Matamata about 15 minutes.
Airbnb
There are a few options around Cambridge, and if you are choosing not to use the bus, you can search neighbouring towns like Matamata, Karapiro and Tirau. We’d recommend booking early if possible to get the best options.
